This is an acrylic painting (also adding charcoal to it) I did for myself a while back and I wanted to convey a sense of containment, of being silenced. Something mysterious, beautfiul and quieted lies behind some kind of barrier. I really enjoyed painting this. Now I’m going to enter it for Illustration Friday and see what happens.
